The Capital ‘Harpers Autoharp Club of the Washington, DC, area was fortunate to have Neal Walters conduct a workshop this past July 15, 2019. This workshop was centered on developing rhythm skills in both 3/4 and 4/4 time which included a review of playing melodies and where the focus should be on how rhythmic techniques inform melody playing. This workshop provided all that attended an excellent opportunity to reinforce our basic playing skills but also provided a means to advance how to play the Autoharp both rhythmically as well as performing melodies with out the need for a whole band.
