CHAC has met monthly since 1991 in the homes of members, in meeting rooms of public libraries in northern Virginia, and other locations in and around the metropolitan Washington DC area. An announcement of the exact monthly date is sent out via e-mail to the membership. Meeting dates are typically on the third Saturday of the month. Our meetings are informal and we welcome players of other instruments besides the Autoharp. Generally our time is spent going over old and new tunes, allow others to perform (i.e., “open mic”), and discuss various topics on how to play the Autoharp.
